This scarf was made by cutting 6 strips of prefelt, 1/2" wide by 23" long in each of three colors. Cut the 1/2" strips of prefelt into varying lengths and place them lengthwise and crosswise on the scarf in a pleasing crosshatch pattern. The scarf was felted with the traditional rolling method. To full the scarf, first the stripes were rubbed while flat on the rolling mat, then the scarf was rolled up and rolled on top of the rolling mat like a rolling pin.
Materials: White Gauze Silk Scarf, White Merino Wool Prefelt (6" x 23"), Sapphire Merino Wool Prefelt (6" x 23"), Ruby Merino Wool Prefelt (6" x 23")
Finished size: ~ 19" x 62"
