For this scarf gently tear a little bit off the ends of a long piece of prefelt. Fold a piece of 6" wide prefelt over each torn end creating a 3" band on each end of the scarf. The ends were torn to create a soft edge that would blend under the band. The scarf was felted with a sander, fulled with a controlled approach of folding and dropping, and finished on a glass washboard. This scarf is made by felting, not nuno felting, because it is soley prefelt. Therefore you can start the felting with hot soapy water.
Materials: Coal-White Silk-Infused Merino Wool Prefelt (11 1/2" x 78"), Coal Silk-Infused Merino Wool Prefelt (6" x 23")
